A BLEND OF HERITAGE & NATURE
From delicate floral herbs to exotic aromatic spices, vibrant reds to serene greens – the flavours and colours of the natural world have been our source of inspiration. Having lived in the tropics, playing outdoors and munching on freshly-plucked fruit, us two Mather cousins developed an appreciation for nature and an inseparable bond.
The concept for BOTANISTRY had been budding for some years, and took root in 2020. Our brand encompasses what we feel strongly about – family, nature and healthy living. Born in Sri Lanka, we are eager to share the island’s heritage rooted in ancient Ayurvedic traditions, with a deep respect for the nutritional power of plants and a rich culinary culture.
The first BOTANISTRY products to sprout are a range of plant-based supplement powders – natural nourishment to support contemporary lifestyles. Our wholesome products are formulated for function and flavour with expertise from the fields of Ayurveda, modern medicine, nutrition and food technology. We blend, pack and test to stringent standards in New Zealand to produce our premium products. We hope you enjoy them as much as we’ve enjoyed crafting them!

Making holistic health more accessible
BOTANISTRY combines ancient nutritional wisdom with modern botanical science. We work with experienced Ayurvedic practitioners and medical doctors in Sri Lanka to carefully formulate each blend.
Our goal is to help make preventative holistic approaches to health more convenient to use in busy lives. We know that one size does not fit all and every day is not the same, which is why our plant-powered products are purposefully designed to be versatile to fit your daily routine.

We pay attention to the little things to help you make big differences. We also believe a little goes a long way. In fact, our plant-based products have humble origins – the herbs, roots, fruits and flowers are harmoniously combined as potent powders to effectively deliver function and flavour.
We work with ethical suppliers, sourcing our raw ingredients and materials from small-scale farmers and rural artisans – always paying fair prices to support local communities. They are very much a part of the BOTANISTRY story. Our nutrient-rich products are crafted to nurture mind and body, creating balance from within.

Keeping things simple
Ayurveda theory states that everything in nature is made up of five basic elements: earth, water, fire, air and space. Each of our BOTANISTRY Blends contains only five organic ingredients, all found in nature and easily absorbable. Why clutter what nature has created so masterfully.
Going the extra mile, we test for heavy metals and microbes at an independent laboratory in New Zealand. This means that our dietary supplements only contain safe, premium grade plant powders – free from artificial additives, sugars or harmful chemicals.

As a small family business, we are humbled by the positive response to our first four BOTANISTRY Blends. A heartfelt thank you to each of you! The BOTANISTRY story continues and we have begun sowing the seeds for our new products. The rigorous research, testing and sourcing process is underway for new Blends as well as new product ranges to help support you and yours.
